Has 2020 been a difficult year for you? Were you made redundant, furloughed or found yourself struggling to cope with the stress brought on by the uncertainty and impact of the COVID-19 pandemic?

Perhaps 2020 was an unexpected life changer and now you are looking to implement more permanent changes in your life for 2021, that support a happier and healthier existence? Or maybe you are simply seeking some focused and restorative time for yourself?

Gift yourself or a loved one the opportunity to indulge in this two day online retreat created at home and in your own body, facilitated in a safe and compassionate way.

An opportunity to unwind, relax and recharge, physically, emotionally and mentally.

The retreat is facilitated live with guided movement explorations and creative activities designed to support you to leave the weekend feeling recharged and equipped with practical resources to support your goals for the year ahead.

The online retreat is a dynamic embodied experience of the Tamalpa Life Art Process, it can be used as a stand alone experience or a an introduction to the larger Tamalpa trainings.

Date: 30th – 31st January 2021

Time: 10.30am – 13.00pm & 14.30  – 5.00pm

Four x 2.5hour sessions in total (may include short breaks in morning or afternoon session)

Cost : £200(concession rates £165 available)

Example of a typical retreat day:

Morning session 1

10.30am – 13.00pm (includes a short break)

• Arrival and welcome

• Guided somatic movement explorations – ‘Arriving in Your Body’

• Creative drawing & writing explorations – ‘Identifying A Core Life theme’

13.00: Lunch Break – 1 & 1/2 hours

Afternoon session 2

14.30pm – 17.00pm (includes a short break)

 Guided movement explorations – ‘Reigniting Life Vitality’

• Introduction to a key basic Tamalpa Life Art Process tool

• Further expressive art explorations – ‘Identifying Life Resources’

• Digestive quite time

• Closing activities

17:00: Finish

Please note most of the guided activities will invite participants away from their computer screens and into their own room environment. Time in front of computer screens will be approximately up to 2 hours spread throughout the day.

What you will need:

  • Access to a computer or Ipad that has a camera facility. (The creative activities allow participants to give their eyes a break from the screen and work in their own home environments. Please note, the facilitator will still need to see all participants, as the sessions are guided live.)
  • Paper and oil pastels, or art materials that are easy to switch between drawing and moving in your own space
  • Note book and pen
  • Layers of clothing to keep you warm between art activities
  • Space to be able to move freely in and lie on the floor without causing injury
  • Bottle of water to keep you hydrated
  • Optional – Comfy pillow, blankets, yoga mat, eye mask, relaxing aromatherapy oils
